Description:
Follow trail north through a meadow area where the terrain is flat and open, changing to pine forest. At 1.5 miles, reach Water of the Woods, a small reservoir which is a delightful spot to look for the tracks of animals who have come here to drink. Note the concave morteros in nearby boulders, which Kwaaymii Native Americans used to grind food. At 3.5 miles, reach Laguna meadows and at 4.0 miles trail ends at Big Laguna Trail. Continue north on Big Laguna Trail to access Noble Canyon Trail (0.75 miles) , or south on Big Laguna Trail as it follows Laguna Meadows.
